UPDATE 7/18: This event has been cancelled due the the heatwave. Enjoy an evening under the stars at Jay Pritzker Pavilion while listening with friends to British conductor Martyn Brabbins as he makes his U.S. debut, leading the Grant Park Orchestra in Vaughan Williams’ sweeping A London Symphony.The evening also includes Beethoven’s moving Piano Concerto No. 3 featuring piano virtuoso and frequent Festival guest artist Stephen Hough, along with James MacMillan’s contemporary classic Stomp. At Grant Park Pritzker Pavilion you will find me on the lawn section far right side (furthest East corner) and closest to the walk way between the lawn and the chairs.I am not allowed to put up balloons to indicate location.Text me that day if you're having difficulty finding our group and I will give you additional directions. I will arrive at 5:30 pm to hold a spot for us. Please RSVP. We need 8 people to make this event a go. This is a BYOB and bring your own picnic. To be comfortable, you may want to bring a small lawn chair or blanket.
